Introduction of Department
History is a study that explores the footsteps of mankind, and it becomes the foundation of the humanities science that accurately recognizes our reality and seeks the right direction to go. In particular, our department is cultivating creative talents with both skill and personality by implementing a'healthy educational community'. In addition to studying Korean history, Eastern history, Western history, history and taxonomy, and practical subjects, the course offers in-depth study of various cultures and history of East and West ancient times through comparisons and courses led by full-time professors.
Educational Goal
Presenting the vision of'Why Not Change The World', students will experience a'healthy educational community' and nurture students to pursue a valuable life after graduation.
Curriculum
Through a variety of introductory courses, we lay the groundwork for comprehensive historical studies.
Understand the history of ancient and medieval Korean history, Eastern history, and Western history, and learn practical subjects such as museum studies to develop practical application skills.
By exploring and Pre-modern history of Korean history, Eastern history, and Western history, students deepen their knowledge and develop practical skills through museum internship programs.
Maximize the ability to utilize historical knowledge through various seminars and dissertations on Korean history, Eastern history, and Western history.
