Introduction of Department
The IT Convergence Electronic Engineering Department trains human resources required for the IT convergence field, which is the core of the 4th industrial revolution, such as medical, automotive, bio, energy, contents, and entertainment, as well as the high-tech electronics industry.
Educational Goal
- Cultivate embedded system hardware engineers to develop smart factories, drones, 5G, etc.
- Fostering software engineers for security, work, and network development
- Fostering talents tailored to demand for technical workers such as public institutions in innovative cities in Daejeon and Chungjeong
Curriculum
Learn basic subjects necessary for IT convergence such as Python, circuit theory, and introduction to creative engineering design.
Learn basic skills related to majors such as system control programming, data communication, and JAVA programming, especially S/W development capabilities.
Learn major core subjects such as microcontroller application, system control design and experiment, embedded system, and firmware, especially H/W development capabilities.
Learn core competencies such as machine learning, network security design, and capstone design (graduate work) and practical competency through the graduation project development team project.
